About CCDG or Me

It’s simple really, I am an average guy who often feels there is only one view being discussed.  It doesn’t create a different view to discuss the pros and cons of an issue, the different view changes the issue.  Just a place for me to posit the “Different View”. 

For the most part this will be the politics of Centro-Conservatism.  The purple view of the world. This is where the Tea Party, Progressives, Conservatives, Liberals and the Independents actually talk about the things they agree on, rather than yell about what the radical wings of their respective parties want to do or say to inflame the base for the next election cycle. The leadership doesn’t get a say here, nor do the doomsayers.

The DG, well it stands for Dobie Gillis, something I was accused of being because I simply won’t engage in the hate politics of either side. So both sides of the discussions mistrust my motives constantly. This means I am being successful.

However, it will also have random thoughts on just about anything that catches my fancy and maybe even have a little fun. So don’t be surprised, hopefully just interested.
